Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs in your browser; your files never leave your device.
Does the photo's quality change?
No. Only the data blocks are removed; the image is not recompressed.
What is removed?
EXIF (location, device, date), XMP and IPTC data, and comments. The color profile and the photo's orientation are kept.
Are iPhone photos (HEIC) supported?
No. On iPhone, Settings → Camera → Formats → "Most Compatible" makes the camera save photos as JPG.
