How it works
- Choose an image, drag it in or paste it with Ctrl+V (up to 50 MB).
- Move the pointer over the image: the loupe shows the pixels. Click to pick that pixel's color.
- Copy the HEX, RGB or HSL code with one click. Take the automatic palette as CSS or JSON.
Frequently asked questions
Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. The image is only opened in your browser.
How is the automatic palette made?
The colors in the image are grouped by similarity, and from each group the color that actually appears in the image and is closest to the group's average is chosen. You can set 3 to 12 colors; very similar colors are merged, so you may get fewer.
Why don't I see the "Pick from screen" button?
The button uses the browser's eyedropper and only appears in browsers that support it, such as Chrome and Edge.
